Vitamin E occurs in a wide variety of plants, especially green vegetables, grains and oils such as safflower and sunflower. USE: Vitamin E is used as an antioxidant in vegetable oils and shortenings and cosmetics and as a dietary supplement. It is used in some antibacterial hand soaps, personal care products and some pet care insect repellants.
